Potential Adverse Effects |
Potent vasoconstrictor, may cause hypertension. Ergot-like effects could have uterine-stimulant effects. At least one fatality has resulted from tea made from the berries. Also contact dermatitis (Kay 1996). |

Hypertensive medication-may decrease effects. Cardiovascular medication-may cause hypertension (Johnson 2002). |
